Second six weeks report cards went home on Thursday.
Third Six Weeks Projects have been assigned.
Students will create a diorama and short original essay (AP)or a collage of words and images (Regular) that represents their interpretation of one of the Bill of Rights Amendments. Please remind your child that plagiarism will not be tolerated. The project is broken down into three separate parts in which a student can achieve a maximum of 33 points for each segment. These three segments will be added together for the final test grade on December 9/10. See the scale below for an explanation of the maximum grade at any possible time. The final grade will be entered into the computer before progress reports go out. A more detailed explanation is available in the project hand out that has been sent home with your child. It is also available on the class website. Please remember that students also may attend tutorials on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays if they need any help completing their project.
Part 1 due November 20/30 maximum grade 33
Part 2 due December 3/4 maximum grade 66
