Mr. David Stone is in his 23nd year at CISD. He has taught at CIS, CHS, CMS
and CSHS. His bands have won numerous awards, including Best of Show, Best
in Class and UIL Sweepstakes. A 24 year Texas teacher, David also is the
musical director of the Southlake Community Band where he has developed the
group from a 25 member organization to 65 member strong. They perform
throughout the Dallas metroplex. Mr. Stone has been married to his high
school sweetheart Michelle for over 20 years and has an incredible daughter,
Andrea, who will be a freshman at Iowa... Go Hawkeyes! His hobbies include
golf, Iowa Hawkeye football and reading.
Mr. Eric Guerrero is in his 10th year of teaching at CISD. Before joining
the band staff, he was our top trumpet teacher in the distrcit. Eric was
born in Kansas, but soon migrated to Texas. He was a member of the famous
One O'Clock Lab Band while working on his degree at UNT. His wife Chanda,
son Christopher and daughter Sara are the loves of his life.
