Supply List
Basic supplies:  (May purchase basic and pillow supplies, except pillow form, 
from teacher for $5)
•	1 yard of cotton/cotton polyester blend fabric. DO NOT get silky,  
stretchy, furry, fuzzy, thick, satiny, fleece, or denim fabric!
•	Thread to match…all purpose thread, not quilting or craft (READ 
CAREFULLY-it is easy to make a mistake)
•	Straight pins (please put in pin cushion-at home-NO pin boxes)
•	Pin cushion
•	16” square pillow form (PLEASE leave at home until pillow is made)
•	Sewing gauge
•	Fabric scissors
•	Seam ripper
•	Spool of thread for practice (any color)
Pajama Pants supplies: (May purchase from teacher for $10)
•	2 ½ - 3 yards of fabric
•	Thread to match color of fabric
•	1 yard of 1” wide elastic
For Food Labs, please bring _____________________________________

HOME EC II SUPPLY LIST:  PEN, PENCIL, PAPER EVERY DAY IN CLASS.
 
Supplies for project #1 are due in class by Feb. 1.  You may purchase 
supplies for Project #2 now or wait until your child finishes with #1.
Supply list

•	Highlighter
•	Threads to match fabric color (ALL PURPOSE THREAD only)
•	Pin cushion
•	Straight pins (in pin cushion)
•	Sewing gauge
•	Fabric scissors
•	Seam ripper
•	Package of sewing machine needles-size 11 or 14 (give to teacher)
•	Pattern-please check for the correct size of student
•	Fabric-amount listed on back of pattern
•	Notions that are needed for each garment (such as zippers, 
interfacing, trims, laces, buttons, hook and eyes, etc.) These are written on 
the back of the pattern envelope.

•	Fabric scissors
•	Seam ripper
•	Package of sewing machine needles (any size 9-16)

PJ Pants Supplies
•	2 ½ to 3 yards of cotton/cotton polyester blend fabric for pajama 
pants. DO NOT get silky, fleece, or stretchy fabric!  Flannel is acceptable 
fabric to use. (Remember that plaids are challenging)
•	Thread to match…all purpose thread, not quilting or craft
•	1 yard of 1” wide elastic-NO ROLL elastic works best

Fabric, pattern, thread, and notions for 2 more projects.

Quilting supplies will be sent out at a later date.
	
  CLOTHING DUE DATES: 

  CLOTHING SCHEDULE:  SAME AS HOME EC II

  CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS FOR SEMESTER:  MAKE YOURSELF 3 DIFFERENT GARMENTS 
BY THE END OF THE SECOND SIX WEEKS.  LAST 6 WEEKS, EACH STUDENT WILL MAKE A 
QUILT.
