About The Teacher

I began teaching  first grade at Deep Wood in 1982.  I love teaching
first graders!  First Graders are full of curiousity and are so eager to
learn.  Everyday is packed with fun and amazement.  Everyday they grow and
change.    Besides your children say the funniest things.  They make me smile :) daily. They help keep me young.

About myself:  

I grew up in Dodgeville, Wiscsonsin.  Dodgeville is small
town in southwest Wisconsin.  I have an older brother and sister.  My brother
lives in Big Springs, Texas and my sister lives in Olivia, Minnesota.  My
father lives with my sister but he comes and spends the winters with my
brother and myself.

My home is in Georgetown, Texas.  I live there with my husband John
and my daughter Haley.  We have two dogs - Bobby and Shadow. John is a
realtor with Keller Williams.   Haley attends Georgetown High School and she
plays the flute in the band.

We come to school to learn!  Everyone can learn! We work at school and at home to get ready for second grade!
