Teachers are in no short supply in my family line. It all began with my grandmother who first started
teaching kindergarden in Mexico; two of her children (my mother included) followed in her footsteps.
Currently I have two cousins who have joined our ranks; and at one point even my father was teaching
as a medical school professor. So even though I may have resisted at times, I eventually let destiny take
its course.
I studied at Texas A&M University and proudly received my Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary
Studies. Determined to become a well-rounded teacher, I decided to obtain my Master's degree in
School Counseling at Texas A&M International University. I now look forward to enrolling in a upper-
level graduate program and work diligently to get a Ph.D., in Educational Administration.
