This week we will begin chapter 6A by learning about furniture items,
electronics, and colors found in one's bedroom. We will also review how to
describe the location of items, as well as the grammar of nouns and articles.
Students have a new vocabulary list that they should study everyday.
Monday - Intro to chapter 6A. Vocabulary pages 272-273. Cultural information
on pages 270 and 290. Homework - study new vocabulary (furniture,
electronics, colors).

This week we will take a quiz over the verb "estar" and related vocabulary.
We will get and practice with the list of questions that will be on the oral
assessment. We will review and practice the differences between the two ways
to say "to be" in Spanish.
Students should be studying their notes on ser vs. estar and should be
practicing their questions for the oral assessment. We will be having a QUIZ
on ser vs. estar next week and will have the oral assessment right before the
Thanksgiving holiday.

This week we will finish our unit on the family and descriptions with some
