GREAT NEWS! The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at The University of Texas at Austin is now accepting applications for its summer program for middle school girls: Careers in Engineering for Women (CEW). This residential program is designed to introduce students to engineering. The long-term goal of CEW is to increase the representation of women in the field of engineering. During this unique, interactive, and fun weeklong experience, CEW participants will put their math and science skills to practical use.

Careers in Engineering for Women (CEW)

• Residential summer camp for girls currently in 6th or 7th grade

• Weeklong session held June 13-19, 2010 on UT Austin campus

• Forty exceptional middle school students will be accepted to attend
