Week of Nov. 2nd through Nov. 6th

Hello everyone. FYI, this is the last week of the 2nd six weeks. Please make sure all assignments are turned in by Friday, Nov. 6th. I will hold tutorials Thursday Afternoon from 3:45 until 5pm. Also, Friday morning from 7:45am until 8:15.

This week we are completing Chapter 10, which covers the Texas Revolution. All students are working on a Texas Revolution Booklet that is due Friday at the beginning of class. This project counts as a test grade.

Also, we will take a Chapter 10 quiz on Friday. Students will use their booklets as a study guide.

I encourage all students to start working on the booklets now instead of waiting until Thursday night. We will have one day in class (Wednesday) to work on them, otherwise, it is homework.

Thanks,

Clay Richardson

Last, Progress reports will go out on Thursday. Some students have not turned in past homework assignments, which is hurting their grades. Week of September 28th through October 2nd

I hope everyone is feeling better this week. I realize many students have been out sick and will need to make up work. Unfortunately, everyone got sick during the final week of the 1st 6 weeks. Please do not be alarmed if your child's report card has an "I" for the grade. The "I" stands for incomplete, which basically means I need the work turned in before I can give an actual grade. Don't worry, I understand the circumstances and will work with the students who need to get caught up.

We will have our Chapter 6 and 7 test on Wednesday, Sept. 29th. I will post the review sheet early next week.

Week of Sept 21st through Sept. 25th
