Boxtops for Education: Collect all the Box Tops for
Education labels you see on General Mills food items you purchase at the
grocery store. Box Tops are worth 10 cents each. Put them in a ziploc bag with
your child's name, teacher's name and return to your teacher or the school
office. Have friends, relatives, and neighbors collect too!
Paper Recycling: You can recycle newspapers, magazines,
shopping catalogs, phone books, office/school papers and junk mail anytime at
the Yellow and Green "Paper Retriever" bin located behind the school. If every
student brought one paper grocery bag filled with paper from home in the
course of an entire month that will generate 9,300 lbs! Did you know we could
earn thousands of dollars per year in unrestricted funds for books, field
trips, or whatever else the school may need? Please recycle for your child's
future!
Green School Project: This project provides additional
funding for our school and it reduces the millions of pounds of toxic
cartridge and cell phone waste dumped into landfills each year. Bring empty
ink cartridges and old cell phones to the school office-our school will earn
money for each item recycled. Register your work place to receive FREE UPS
labels to send their empty cartridges and cell phones. Our school will earn
money for those items as well! Call 1-877-882-5032. Feel good about helping
the environment and our school!
Target: When shopping at Target and using your Target
card, 1% of the total purchase will be donated to DFT as long as you give the

Round Rock Leader: If you subscribe to the RR Leader
newspaper, let them know you want your subscription counted for DFT, and we
will receive $5.00
