Third Graders come to the library each week at a set time for check out.
They are allowed to have 2 books plus a magazine at a time. The checkout
period is two weeks. After that time, materials are considered overdue, and
library check out privileges are suspended until the materials are
returned. Of course, students do not have to keep materials for the full 2
weeks. They can return them at anytime and check out more.
Third Graders participate in the Bluebonnet Award program. They need to
read at least 5 of this years nominees in order to vote for their favorite
book in January. Refer to this year's list on this web page under "Reading
Lists".
