You need to send your child with a snack everyday. Please send something
healthy; for example, cut apples, pretzels, cheese crackers, etc.
What do I send for my child's birthday?
Talk to your teacher about time and date. You will need to bring enough
store-bought baked goods for each child; for example, cookies, cupcakes,
donuts, etc. PLEASE DO NOT SEND IN PEANUT PRODUCTS!
Can I eat lunch with my child?
You are more than welcome to come and eat with your child. Your child can
invite 1 friend to sit with you. A back table will be available for parents
and visitors!
Will my child have homework?
We will be sending home family projects throughout the year that are
intended to involve fun, learning, and time spent together! We will be
sending reading books home the 2nd six weeks of school. These books will be
on your child's reading level. More information will be provided later.
What time does school start?
Your child will need to be in their classroom at 7:55. If they arrive
before 7:55, they will need to walk to the elementary gym.
What time does school end?
Kindergarten teachers leave their classrooms at 2:45.
What do I do if my child is tardy?
Your child is tardy at 8:00. If your child is tardy, they need to go to the
office and get a tardy slip before going to class.
Where does my child go when they get off of the bus in the morning?
Your child will be directed by other teachers to go to the elementary gym.
There will be teachers in there at all times! You might want to send several
books with them in their backpack so they can have something to do before the
bell rings.
