December 14, 2009 It is hard to believe the holidays are here already! Students are having trouble staying focused. We had a wonderful collection of toys to send to GRACE. Thank you for helping your student participate in this valuable activity. As the holidays approachp please help them remember to turn in assignments and watch their behavior. In math this week we will have a test over fractions on Tuesday. On Wednesday your student can bring a baggie of small food items to use for a math activity. The bag should contain 4 or more different things - about a fourth of a cup of each. Suggestions include cereal, candy, marshmallows (small), raisins etc. In science we will be looking at the periodic table and try to figure out what it is all about! There will be a quiz over matter vocabulary on Thursday. Please spend some time looking at your student's grades online. Many need reminders about the impact of late work.
