6 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AS CHAPERONES FOR NOVEMBER 4, 2008

5th GRADE QUEST "LITTLE WASHINGTON IN BIG D" FIELD TRIP 


Chaperones must:

  • participate in a 1½-hour training session on October 29 at EIS* (*DIS/EIS are co-participating in this field trip)

  • sign a contract

  • pass a background check

  • travel on buses departing and returning to DIS*

Adult professionals who specialize in the topics covered in our units:

  • 5th grade: plate tectonics, environment, brain science, robotics, other related topics

  • 6th grade: international diplomacy, United Nations, religions, country cultures, world travel, other related topics
