Extended Studies Grading Policy

5 th Grade

We will be finishing up the year with the Solar System packets and the last issue of the Great Body Shop.We will work on them in class only! We will be doing the last GBS test online during class, but students are encouraged to work on them at home or during study hall as well. They may also stay for Extended Day and work in the library. I can be available for after school or before school so they can come to my room to work.

6th Grade

During these last few weeks we will be finishing up with the Life Skills Curriculum and then with the last 2 issues of the Great Body Shop. We began taking the GBS tests on line but do to time constraints, the students will need to finish the tests at home or during study hall. They may also stay for Extended Day and work in the library. I can be available for after school or before school so they can come to my room to work.

After TAKS we will finish up with the last issue for the year. 6th grade with cover enviromental issues and 5th grade will work on consumer education.

Tutoring

I am available to help Extended Studies students on any morning except Monday. I and also stay after school if necessary.
