Edie is our FROGerrific Student of the Week.
Thank you to the Shaws (Leah's family) for donating items from our Wish List.
The library is open once again. We will have normal Library check outs tomorrow. Please remember to return your library books tomorrow.
We had a blast playing in the snow on Friday. The minute we saw it coming down, we got our coats on and ran outside to catch snowflakes on our tongues. We knew if we waited even a second, it would be gone. We only stayed out for a few minutes because it was cold, but it was fun to see the excitement on their faces!!
Please remember to send a jacket with your child each day. We will go outside if the temperature is above 40 degrees.
The countdown to winter break has begun! We have 10 school days left. School will resume on Jan. 5th.
Our Field Trip is this coming Thursday. Please make sure your wonderful has a sack lunch and a drink. Please have your wonderful wear their Kinder Shirts. (I'll probably wear a long sleeve shirt and put my Kinder Shirt over it.) That will help me identify the wonderfuls when we get off the buses. Also, I am in need of two large coolers to put our lunches in. If anyone has a cooler I can borrow for our Field Trip, please let me know ASAP.
A few reminders for the upcoming weeks:
Wednesday, Dec. 9th: Early Release at 12:45pm
Thursday, Dec. 10th: Field trip to Zachary Scott Theatre
Lunch will be eaten at Cat Hollow Park. Parents and younger siblings are welcome to join us there. We should arrive between 12:15 and 12:30.
Monday, Dec. 14th: optional Kindergarten performance at 6:30pm in the cafeteria (Wear Santa hats!)
Friday, Dec. 18th: Winter Party at 11:15am in classroom
After our winter party, each child will have a load of goodies to bring home. HEB no longer donates brown paper sacks to teachers, so I am asking that you send in 1 brown paper grocery sack with your child by Wednesday, Dec. 16th. Thank you so much for your help with this!
Stay warm!!!
