About The Teacher
I am originally from Miaimi,Florida. I moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas and to follow my high school sweetheart whom I have been married to for 28 years. My husband, Paul, is the East Coast Regional Sales Manager for Clarks Shoe Companies. We have two wonderful children. Our daughter, Stacy,graduated from U.T. in May. She was married on Oct. 2 and is now living in CA. with her husband who is in the Marine Corp. for two more years. Our son, Alex, will be starting his second year at ACC with a career path in Nursing. As you might have guessed, we are HUGE LONGHORN FANS! I have two dogs, Liberty, our Golden Retriever and Jessie, a Pomeranian. Both are spoiled and have been a wonderful addition to our family. Now that we are getting closer to the empty nest stage in our lives, they are even more spoiled. I still have family in Florida. We enjoy traveling there each Summer and visit the beach. I also have family in Albuquerque, NM, and we also enjoy visiting them and playing in the snow. My hobbies are simple...shopping, relaxing by the pool with a good book or magazine, and watching movies. I have been teaching for over 20 years. I have always taught Kindergarten or First Grade. I have taught in both AISD and RRISD. I taught at Pond Springs Elementary for many years but as of four years ago was blessed to join the Fern Bluff staff. I am looking forward to meeting all of you, especially your kidos.
