Homework is sent home every Monday in our red homework folder. It is due back on Friday. Students should read for 15-20 min. The fist page on each math packet is supposed to be worked out verbally in class. You can either put an X through this page or use it as extra practice. 9/7-9/11 Week 3 Friday will be our first spelling test! Make sure to study words all week long. These words are from the -at family, the- ad family, and the -an family. We will be talking about these word families more in class. Example of the -at Family: cat, bat, sat, fat, mat, pat, flat etc. Spelling: that sat flat had mad sad glad man an can Math: Worksheet * Homework will come home on Monday in a RED homework folder. It is due Friday morning. This week there will be an Ideas grid that you and your child can fill out together. This will be used to help your child with ideas to write about. There will also be a handwriting sheet sent home. Spelling words will be starting soon. For now we will are working on the routine! *You child will bring home a blue Poetry Folder on Friday. Please read over this folder with you child and return on Monday.
