FYI- The 5th grade policy on corrections is only assignments with a grade of
less than 70 will be allowed to be corrected. Corrections will receive half-
credit, up to a grade of 70. Additionally, the correction form must be
filled out completely to receive credit.
Homework for the week of November 30- December 4, 2009
Science-
Students will receive their weekly science homework on Monday. It
will be due on Friday. Students may use their text book and/or any resouce
they desire to complete the homework.
In science we are working on Earth Science. There will be LOTS of labs
during this unit. Please watch for e-mails from me regarding how to get
involved.
We are fully into quick changes to the Earth.
Language Arts-
Weekly spelling homework and the spelling test will be on Friday of each
week. For more information regarding the spelling activities, check out the
spelling activites link on the left.
We are reading My Brother Sam Is Dead.
Math-
There is no homework in spelling this week. Instead, please, Please,
PLEASE work on multiplication tables!
We are working on fractions this week. The test over fractions will be
on Wednesday, December 16.
Social Studies-
The district has sent us three benchmarks to complete before we leave
for Winter Break. Science will be the week of December 7-11. Social
Studies will be the week of December 14-18.
