FYI- The 5th grade policy on corrections is only assignments with a grade of
less than 70 will be allowed to be corrected. Corrections will receive half-
credit, up to a grade of 70. Additionally, the correction form must be
filled out completely to receive credit.
Homework for the week of November 9-13, 2009
Science-
Students will receive their weekly science homework on Monday. It
will be due on Friday. Students may use their text book and/or any resouce
they desire to complete the homework.
In science we are working on Biomes.
There will be a major unit test over all of life science on Friday
November 20. Students should be looking over their science journals to begin
studying. Additionally, they will be coming home with some wonderful study
suppports. Please be looking for them over the next week.
Language Arts-
Weekly spelling homework and the spelling test will be on Friday of each
week. For more information regarding the spelling activities, check out the
spelling activites link on the left.
Math-
Students will have weekly math homework. They will receive their
homework on Monday. It is due on Friday.
We are working on perimeter, area and volume. There will be a test
overt these concepts on Friday, November 13. The review sheet will be sent
home on Wednesday, November 11.
Social Studies-
We have finished the colony project and are moving into the American
Revolution.
