Announcements for Nov. 16-20

 

-This Thursday, Nov. 19th is Thanksgiving Lunch.  All families are invited to join us for a special lunch in the cafeteria.  Our lunch (brunch) will begin at 10:18 that day.  If you plan to purchase a lunch from the cafeteria, please order ahead of time and bring cash for your meal on the 19th.  Parents and siblings will not be allowed to buy lunch using your Kindergartener's lunch account, you will have to pay separately.

 

-My doctor is expecting a November baby (we'll see), so I guess that means Mrs. Davis could possibly take over any day now.  Please remember that you can contact me at mrs.thibodaux@gmail.com if you need anything while I am out.  Mrs. Davis is aware of all the volunteers and readers that are already scheduled.  Please let her know if any changes come up.

 

-Thanksgiving is just around the corner.  We will have school next Monday and Tuesday but will be off Wednesday-Friday.  If your child will be out additional days next week, please let me know.  It will help me plan activities.  Thanks!

 

Reminders:

-Dec.10th Kindergarten Field Trip; We will be headed to Zachary Scott Theater in Austin then to a park for lunch and play time.  Due to the limited number of seats in the theater, parents are not invited to the show (so sorry!); however, parents and siblings are welcome to meet us at the park afterward for a picnic lunch.  More details will be coming home soon.  Students will not need to pay for this field trip; a small fee may apply to the field trip in the spring.

 

-Dec. 18th Class Holiday Party at 11:15.  Students will be celebrating the holidays with games, crafts, snacks and stories during the party.  Parents are welcome to join us for the fun.  Due to the limited number of supplies and space, we ask that siblings not attend the party.  If you would like to help out with the party, please email Mrs. Hile.
