Week of Feb. 8- Feb. 12  Announcements:

-Monday, Feb 8 Welcome back Mrs. Thibodaux!

-Wednesday, Feb. 10 Mrs. Thibodaux's students will visit the library. Please remember to send your child's book since they all love to get new books each week. This is also an Early Release Day, so mark your calendars for a 12:45 dismissal.

-Friday, Feb 12 Kindergarten Valentine's Parties will begin at 11:30.  Please check with Mrs. Hile regarding things that are needed.  Remember to send in those boxes to collect all the Valentine cards and goodies.



*Remember to send your child with a jacket/coat each day as we will go outside as long as the temperature is 40 degrees or higher.  We will certainly go out any day that we have the opportunity as there are many days that yucky or cold weather will possibly keep us inside.

*Classroom Needs:  If you would like to donate something to our classroom, these are our biggest needs right now. . .  kleenex and construction paper for our art station .  Thank you to all parents who have sent in supplies so far!

Reminders:

-Don't forget that you can reach me at mrs.thibodaux@gmail.com while I am gone.

-Remember to send in the independent reading envelopes (brown) with your child after you have read the selection at home.  This encourages them to continue to practice in order to get to take another home.

-Student Council will be sponsoring a garage sale with the profits designated for relief efforts in Haiti.  They are requesting that donations be dropped off anytime before the Sat. Feb.13th 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. sale.  They are also accepting baked goods to be sent in on  Friday (Feb 12).
