Planet Projects Due on November 23rd

*Book orders will be coming around for the new month so keep an eye out for 
them in your child's Tuesday Folder.

BOBCAT BOP TONIGHT Bring the family and your school spirit to the cafeteria 
for a dance party and snacks! Friday, November 20th at 6:30 PM.  
 
REFLECTIONS GALLERY & AWARDS: Come join us celebrate and recognize our 
amazing Bobcat student artists. Fern Bluff PTA hosts the 2009-2010 
Reflections Awards Night on Monday, November 30th in the cafeteria from 7pm-
8pm. Awards will be given out to finalists and all work will be on display. 
All are welcome!
 
SCIENCE KITS Did you know you can find out when your child will be coming 
home with a science kit? Check the PTA calendar online! Classrooms are listed 
for each Thursday from now until May. http://sites.google.com/site/fbepta 
 
BOOK FAIR Volunteers needed to staff the library’s upcoming Scholastic Book 
Fair December 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Email Jill Golla at thegollas@yahoo.com if 
you can help.
 
LION DANCE PERFORMANCE Students in grades Kinder, First, Second, and Third 
will be treated to a PTA sponsored cultural arts assembly on Tuesday, 
November 24th at 8 AM. Ask your child about it!
 
A HAND UP If you are interested in helping Fern Bluff Elementary families 
that have occasional financial emergencies, such as lack of groceries or 
electricity being disconnected, you can volunteer to be in an e-mail group 
that will receive requests to donate to these families as emergencies arise.

LIBRARY OPEN Did you know that parents are able to check out books from our 
school library? Stop by anytime between 7:30 AM and 2:45 PM to check out two 
today!

THIRD GRADE DRAMA CLUB: Performance will be Thursday, December 17th at 7 PM 
(not on the 15th as reported in the November newsletter).

GOT STUFFED ANIMALS? Fern Bluff students Tyler Strachan and Ryan Vasquez are 
working together to try to round up as many gently used stuffed animals as 
they can for Williamson County's Brown Santa program. If you have any to 
donate, please drop them off at school by Friday, December 4th. Read more
