Dear Parents, It is hard to believe this will be my 22nd year of teaching. What a wonderful time I have had teaching so many children to read, write and become better problem solvers. I can honestly say that they have been a great blessing in my life. I always feel that they end up giving me more than I give them. Each day, a child will make me laugh or smile. Each day, I get to see someone learn something new and the pride that goes with that is amazing. I love that each year there is always a fresh start, and every day is new. Teaching will always be a creative and exciting job to me. I am also blessed to be the mother of three wonderful boys. My son Nicholas is beginning his second year at U.T. and will study engineering. James will be a sophmore at Round Rock High and is excited about running cross country. Ben, will begin high school this year. He enjoys theater and is currently in Guys and Dolls at the Palace Theater in Georgetown. I have a graduate degree in the diagnosis of reading difficulties and worked at the San Diego State University Reading Center working with children learning to cope with learning disabilities. I am looking forward to working with you to help your children meet their potential.
My mission is for each child to reach his or her potential and to instill a love of learning that will last a lifetime. This year's focus is to improve science instruction campus wide.
