Spelling words will be assigned each week. Spelling words are selected
based on word families because it is important for your child to begin to
hear and recognize spelling patterns in both reading and writing. Each
student will be responsible for learning the "Fern Bluff" words and will be
assessed each Friday. In addition, 4 "Bobcat" words will be given each
week. These words are optional (but recommended) for all students. These
words provide an extra challenge. Check this page each week for both word
lists.
