Can visits occur before and/or after school without an appointment?
While your questions and concerns are important as well as the well-being of
every student in our class, please refrain from the 'pop-your-head-in-the-
door meetings' while your children are in my immediate care. Your
children safety is very important, and they are in my care beginning at
7:30AM-3:00PM.
'Do you have a moment' meeting during our school day?
While good intentions are 'just a few minutes,' please note that our day is
quite involved in school related preparations/activities/meetings/trainings.
Sometime I have only a few moments between transitions. This simple doesn't
allow enough time. Please be considerate of all students by calling to
arrange a specific time. You may call the office 428-2100 to arrange a
specific time.
How can I schedule a conference?
This is SIMPLE, but does require patience. Please call the office (428-2100)
to set up a conference rather than just 'stop by'. Stopping by or popping in
interrupts learning or afterschool tutoring. Fourth grade conferences
are 10:20-11:00AM. Your request will be arranged as soon as possible as
there are many school meetings/planning sessions, etc to attend to as well.
Thank you in advance for your patience.
What other options are available to conference?
Often times most concerns can be handled with through a simple phone call or
email. After hours, I can orchestrate conference calls without any problems,
especially phoning you in the evening at the end of the day. To request this
contact, you may simple leave a voice mail, email me or call the front
office (428-2100).
What would be your favorite surprise to receive?
YUMMMMMYYYY: Thanks for asking! My favorite surprise any time of the day
would be Starbucks:
Grande, nonfat, Cafe Latte (Extra Hot)!
Of course massages and facials from Halina's Day Spa (Steiner Ranch area)!
Can I bring you sweets?
Please no sweets. I love them, but they don't like me. THANKS!
What is the best way to leave a message for my child?
The best way for you child to receive a message is call Ms. Robinson (428-
2104). She will be sure we have the message. Leaving messages on the
classroom phone is not the best option, as the messages are not checked
until the end of the working day.
What is the best time of the day to schedule doctor appointments?
Often times you may need to pick up your child early. We try to finish
instrution time between 2:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. If possible, please arrange
appointments after this time.
What is the procedure for picking up children early?
Upon arriving, please sign your child out at the front desk. The
secretaries will call the classroom for your child. Please wait at the
office area. We may be involved in an activity and it may require extra
time to prepare your child for the next day as well as packing their items.
Please give us 5-10 minutes to collect important things we may need for
departure. It is very important that you follow these procedures. I can't
not release children until I have heard from the office.

I have younger children, can I bring them to meetings with me?
I understand having younger children; however, it is difficult to discuss
matters when other children are present. If you find yourself needing to
bring them, please make sure they have something to occupy their time and
they remain seated and quiet. I have a great deal invested in materials
within my class. I ask that you please respect this by keeping tabs with
your children. Please do not allow them to help themselves to materials in
others desk, whiteboards, etc.
