Writing continues to move forward. We are working on a new composition along with elements important to all writing! We continue to organize, develop word choices (vivid verbs), grammar (Run-on sentences, strong sentences), and writing elements (VOICE) that enhance writing across the curriculum. </STRONG></DIV>

<DIV><STRONG>Book Fair will begin tomorrow! Please come visit! Also, everyone completed their book report as they completed the book talks at the invite of Mrs. Dalton!</STRONG></DIV>

<SPAN style="COLOR: #ff00ff"><SPAN style="COLOR: #ff00ff">New spelling words are introduced each Monday and a test is given on Friday. The children will record the words in their planning agenda.  Each student will have activities due on Friday.  Using time wisely, these activities can be completed in class. Otherwise, they may require completion at home. On Fridays they will take the test in a spelling journal. Each Tuesday, the journal will come home in their Tuesday folder for you to review, sign, and return in the Tuesday folder. Activities that receive below 70% maybe completed and turned in within 2 days (Thursday) for rescoring. <SPAN style="COLOR: #008000"><EM><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana; FONT-SIZE: 14pt"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: ; COLOR: #ff00ff"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: ; COLOR: #008000"><STRONG style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt"><EM>**(see our link to the left for spelling)</EM> </STRONG></DIV>
