Science - Students are performing several experiments in class this week on mass movement, volcanoes, earthquakes and tree rings.  We will finish this mini-unit by Monday of next week.

 
Math - We are working on reducing fractions, ordering and comparing fractions as well as adding and subtracting fractions and comparing/ordering mixed numbers.  Students are still working on mastering their multiplication facts.  Students will be tested on a rotating basis orally.  

 

Please note that when sending in goodies for your child's birthday that nothing will be shared until 2:00 and that the items must be store bought with a nutrition label on the container.  Thanks for your cooperation.

Please check with your child and replenish supplies such as pencils, spirals, scissors, etc.  We could also use a few more boxes of Kleenex as well as small items such as pens and fun pencils for the goodie box.
