This is my second year at Fern Bluff but my eighth year in the Round Rock
District. I am a graduate of Texas Lutheran University. My minor was in
social studies.
I play the piano, read, write, go to movies, concerts, and shop in my spare
time. I do not have any pets.
My favorite colors are cobalt blue, sunflower yellow, and purple.
Over the summer I traveled to New York where I met Marcia Gay Harden and
James Gandolfini, ate lots of great food, rode in a carriage through Central
Park, and shopped! I have also been to Paris, London, Tuscany, Venice,and
Vancouver. My favorite places are New York City, Venice, and Big Bear,
California.
Going out to eat is a favorite of mine. Some of the places I frequent are
Chuy's, The Cheesecake Factory and Saki Sushi. I enjoy cooking too,
especially anything Italian. Please note, that I have a SEVERE peanut
allergy by inhalation and eating, so if you could not send peanut products,
it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I am an author and active member of the Society of Childrens Book Writers
and Illustrators. I write novels for the middle grade and young adult
audiences.
The mission for the class is to master all 5th grade TEKS and to enjoy
learning and be succesful in the classroom.
The class goal is to obtain a 90% or above passing rate for the Math
and Science tests.
