Volunteering

Dear Parents,

Library volunteers enjoy being a contributing part to the center of the
school’s learning community, interacting with teachers, support staff, and
students at all levels. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet people and get
first-hand knowledge about how Forest Creek Elementary works. We need you!
Please come to our Library Volunteer Breakfast next Wednesday morning,
September 9, at 8:00 a.m., to learn more.

A volunteer chart is on the volunteer schedule link on the Forest Creek
Library site, and will be updated through the year. If volunteering weekly
doesn't work for your schedule, you can let us know if you would prefer bi-
monthly or other possibilities. If you have a special talent (maybe you
love to do bulletin boards?), let us know and we could work with you --
perhaps there are even ways you might be able to help from home.

Teresa Kampfe will send out E-flyers requesting book fair volunteers in
October and the spring.

Regular volunteers are greatly appreciated and can help with shelving, check
outs, processing books, and decorating. Lou Ann Woodall, our Birthday Book
volunteer, is looking for a partner to help her, if you would be interested
in yearlong project.

Thanks in advance for your volunteer efforts. We will do our best to make
sure you feel at home volunteering here in your children’s library. We look
forward to hearing from you about your preferred day and time. You may call
or e-mail to let us know.
