About The Teacher
KAREN LEITCH, MEd. Both my BSEd. and my MEd. are from The University of Texas at Austin. My husband and I lived in Austin for 25 years before moving to the country. I began my teaching career at the original L.C. Anderson High School in east Austin. My counseling career began at Porter Middle school. My husband and I have two wonderful, grown children and two adorable grandchildren. I love working with our students, traveling, and all things chocolate. MARY GRAF, MEd., LPC I am Forest Creek's half-time counselor. My primary responsibility is our fourth and fifth grade students. I was previously the lead counselor at Chisholm Trail Middle School. Prior to that, I was a counselor in Houston for 14 years. I do volunteer work at For the Love of Christi, a local grief support organization. I also enjoy walking and gardening. I love working with students.
