I hope that everyone had a fantastic winter break. I know we did. It was wonderful. I would like to introduce two new students to our class: Mark Kettle and Connor Kalahiki. Welcome boys!!!!
Reminders: School holiday January 18th. Your child will be able to spend that day at home thinking about Martin Luther King Jr.
Running Club: If you want your child to participate in running club please send in a note on Monday to let me know that it is okay for your child to participate. It starts at 2:45 and ends at 3:15. Be sure your child knows how they are getting home.

Curriculum for the week of 10/26-10/31
Language Arts: We are reading Lightning Thief. We are also going to be working on poetry. Not just reading it but also writing some poetry.
Math: Division and Area/Perimeter
Science: Landforms and natural disasters-- we will be doing the vocabulary for the next three weeks. Our quiz on it will be January 22nd.
