Time flies! This is my second year at Forest Creek and joining the
Coyotes has proved to be wonderful!
This is my 17th year teaching children. My teaching career consists of
3rd grade, 4th grade, Title I, and kinder. I earned my master's
degree in special education, and am happy and excited to be a special
educator in grades K-3 this year. I have taught many children who struggle
with emotional and learning disabilities as well as students who are on the
autistic spectrum. My son also struggles on a daily basis with Asperger's
Syndrome and a mood disorder. I am continuously learning, reading,
researching and finding what will work with him and my students.
In my free time I love reading, spending time with my family, and trying
to be more "crafty"!
My students will continue to try their very best in everything they do
while having fun learning, building social skills, and finding the
confidence to believe they can!
