Dear Parents,
I want to welcome you and your child to our fifth grade class! My
name is Claire Rosenbaum and I am extremely excited to be teaching fifth
grade at Forest North Elementary.
I attended The University of Texas, Austin and received my BA in
Early Childhood Education in 2006. After I graduated from Texas I moved back
to Atlanta, GA and taught second grade with Atlanta Public Schools. This
will be my second year teaching fifth grade at Forest North.
This is going to be an exciting year where I hope to foster a life
long learner. Your child will leave fifth grade confident in his/her
abilities as a student and a member of our classroom community. One
of my philosophies in developing a cooperative learning environment is
creating a community within our classroom. We will work together throughout
the year in small group in large group settings.
