I have lived in Friendswood with my family since 1990. My husband and I have
four children, a son-in-law and two grandchilden. All of our children have
gone through the schools in Friendswood. At one point we were in every school
in town! A dog and a cat round out our family. Although I have lived in
Texas for 30 years, I am actually a transplant from the state of Georgia. I
hold a degree in Biology from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. For several
years I enjoyed teaching high school Biology and Chemistry in a private school
setting. Since that time my focus has shifted to elementary-aged children. I
love teaching First Grade!
My mission each year is to give your child a good educational start toward a
lifetime of learning. I want each child to feel he/she is in a safe place in
my class, and I want him/her to go to second grade with a good feeling
about school. During the course of the year I would like for our class to
become like a family away from home, learning together.
