I am originally from Scotland where I began teaching many years ago!
I had an urge to travel and three years after leaving college went to Egypt
to teach in British schools overseas. From there I moved on to Kuwait
and the United Arab Emirates. While teaching in Abu Dhabi I met my
husband who is from Illinois. We moved to Houston in '86 and I went to
work fo HISD.
My daughter was born in '91 and we moved back overseas when she
was one and a half, returning when she was five. In 2000 we moved to
Atlanta for three years and returned in 2003.
I began teaching kindergarten at Cline in '03 and moved to first grade in
'04. For the school year 2005-6 I moved back to kindergarten to start
the first year of a "looping" program.
I love teaching and look forward to coming to school every day!
