Reading- sight words-their,other,about,many,some Work on decoding- reading new words-Read whole word- start with the first letters, look at the middle and then all the letters at the end.
Phonics- ee and ea (tree and season) Review short vowels,silent e rule and digraphs
Writing- continue writing complete sentences and using correct word order in sentences
Math- continue graphing and probability
Social Studies- cont. Winter Holidays
* Please read with your child daily. They need to practice reading fluently, retelling the story in order and making a connection to the story( Ask them what does this story make you think of? What does it remind you of?)
