<div>Peek at Week Jan. 4-8<br />
Reading- sight words would,too,more,people,over  Please review all sight words studied up to now. This includes first and second nine weeks words. A list was sent today in the Friday folder. Please go over these words and have students read these by sight; they should not be sounding these out.<br />
Phonics-ed and ing endings ( talked, talking)<br />
Writing- work on writing something in order- use words like "first, next, then and finally".<br />
Math- place value (tens and ones) through 50<br />
Science/Social Studies- New Year's resolutions , weather  and snow<br />

I just wanted to say thanks again for all the cards and gifts. The  party was wonderful! The students were all involved and had lots of fun! I hope you and your families have  great Christmas. <br />
     ****Please remember that students return on Monday Jan. 4 and it is a late arrival day. School  at 9:40 that day.<br />

Friday Jan. 8 is the first Friday of the month so students should wear their class shirts on that day if <br />
   possible.<br />
