This is my 28th year as a second grade teacher. My husband and I have been
married 29 years. We grew up in Friendswood, went to school in FISD and KNOW
that it is a great place to raise children. We have raised 3 sons here who
have all graduated from Friendswood High School with honors. They have all 3
attended or are currently attending Texas A&M University. My 2 oldest sons
married wonderful girls who graduated from A&M, too. (WHOOP!) My oldest son
is the youth pastor at our church, Friendswood Friends Church. His wife is the
owner/teacher of a dance academy called Chara Christian Dance Academy here in
Friendswood. My middle son and his wife are both in graduate school in
College Station. My youngest son is a freshman at Texas A&M University.
The subjects your child will be studying this year are Reading, Language,
Spelling, Math, Science, and Social Studies. I value having your child in
my classroom. When your child is with me, be assured that they will be
loved, taken care of, and will get the best educational experience I can give
them.
My goal is to have your child loving to read, expressing themselves
through writing and learning about themselves and how they relate to
the world around them. We will be working throughout the year on the
following character traits RESPECT, CARING, TRUSTWORTHINESS,
FAIRNESS, RESPONSIBILITY, and CITIZENSHIP as we work together in
the classroom to get along with one another.

success for your child!
