| Thursday homework: Please listen to your child practice reading the
word family pull through for the week. It will help prepare them for
the word family quiz given every Friday. Practice using sight words and
some words from the word family of the week to make a simple, short sentence.
Students should be able to write a 3-6 word sentence using common sight
words and words from the word family.
HOMEWORK: Each student has a red homework folder that will be sent
home on Friday. Please sit down with your child and use
this time to make a connection and assess your child's
progress. Folders should be returned by Wednesday.
Review letter cards and sight word cards for 5/10 minutes at least three
days
a week.
