| A weekly folder is sent home on Friday in your child's classroom Friday
folder. Please listen to your child read the home reader and sign that your
child did so. Please review their work and have them complete anything sent
to support the week's lessons.
If a sheet with a section of a leveled reader story is sent, please listen
to it and initial that you did so.
Tickets for the Treasure Chest are an incentive!
It's important that your child return the folder by Thursday following the
Friday that is was sent.
Please review the "Clues About Next Week" that is in the folder so you can
be a part of the learning that is taking place in the Reading Club. Please
keep this page each week.
New this year is the "Can you discover the secret word?" on the parents'
clues page. See if your child can unscramble the letters to make a March
word. Then, have them take those same letters and see how many words they
can make on the back of the page. Every Monday we will see who can
unscramble the letters. This will earn a Treasure Chest ticket! Have fun.
