If I want to eat lunch with my child, what do I need to do?
Our lunch time is 10:36-11:06. You will need to sign in at the
front office
and you can wait for us in the cafeteria. You may bring outside
food or you
may purchase a lunch in our cafeteria.
My child wants to buy icecream, how does this work?
Ice cream days are Tuesday and Fridays. The cost is 55 cents.
Your child can
bring the money the day of ice cream or go through the lunch
line and get a
stamp on his/her hand that will allow them to go to the ice
cream counter to
get a icecream.
I would like a conference with the teacher, what do I do?
Please call the front office to schedule a conference. My
conference time is
1:00-1:30.
What are the kindergarten sight words?
They can be located on this website. Go to information documents
and click
kindergarten sight words.
What is the library schedule for our class?
Our class has library on Thursday mornings from 11:00-11:30.
Please return
library that day or prior to Thursday.
If my child has a change in afternoon transportation, what do I need to do?
No afternoon transportation changes can be accepted after 2:15.
Does my child need to bring a snack?
We do have a time for snacks. If your child brings a snack, he
will keep it
in his/her cubby until snack time. Please send a nutritious
snack that the
students can easily eat with their fingers and work at the same
time. If you
send fresh fruit, make sure it is already cut. Please do not
send anything
that requires a spoon.
How do I order from the bookorder?
Each month your child will bring home a Scholastic Book Club
catalog. It is usually the Firefly and the Seesaw. You may order
by returning the order form to school, along with one check made
payable to Scholastic. You may also order online by going to
http://clubs.scholastic.com/cool/login.jsp and going to parent
login. The username is mrsguynesclass and the password is
bookorders. You will see the available catalogs to order from
and the due date. You child's order will be sent to the school
either way that you decide to order. Thanks for your order. I
helps our class receive wonderful FREE supplies.
