This is my twelth year working in FISD. I am excited to be starting
another year in kindgarten. This is my sixth year teaching kindergarten
at Cline. I graduated from UHCL with a B.S. in Geography Education and
I am currently working on my Master's in Education Administration. I enjoy
being in the classroom and get a lot of joy from teaching. My husband and
I met here in Friendswood and we have two children. My son graduated
Friendswood High School in 2007 and is currently serving in the USCG. My
daughter will graduate this year!!! It feels like just yesterday they were
in kindergarten. Time flys and I know this year will too!
I hope to encourage every child to be the best they can be by creating
a positive learning enviroment that fits the individual need of all
learners. I know that each child is different and I hope to teach each
child according to his/her achievement level. It is my mission to teach
not only academic skills but also social skills. When each child walks into
my classroom, I will do everything possible to make sure they feel loved and
accepted. By the time each child leaves kindergarten, I will do my best to
help them master all grade level objectives and that they become more
responsible for themselves and their actions.
