I love to teach and I am glad to be teaching in Friendswood. I have been with
FISD for 14 years. I am excited to be starting my eighth year teaching
kindergarten at Cline.
My wonderful husband and I met in Friendswood and we have two great children.
My son graduated FHS in 2007 and is currently serving in the USCG. He and his
wife had their first child this summer. This is my first
grandchild, a grandson! My daughter graduated FHS 2010 and is attending classes at Alvin
Community College. She hopes to attend YWAM (Youth with a Mission)in Hawaii next
fall.
It feels like just yesterday my kids were in kindergarten. Time flies and I know
this year will too! I am excited for another great year!
I hope to encourage every child to be the best they can be by creating
a positive learning environment that fits the individual needs of all
learners. I know that each child is different and I hope to teach each
child according to his/her achievement level. It is my mission to teach
not only academic skills but also help to build their social skills. When each
child walks into my classroom, I will do everything possible to make sure they
feel safe, loved and accepted. By the time each child leaves kindergarten, I
will do my best to help them master all grade level objectives and teach them
to become more responsible for themselves and their actions.
