Dear Parents,

 I hope everyone had a fantastic break!!

 Some new information:  1.   I would like for all my wonderful classroom volunteers to take these next three weeks off.  This is such a busy time of year, and you all have lots to do.  Because of all your help, I am already "ahead of the game".  Please use this time for you and your family.  I greatly appreciate all you've done for me!!
2.  I am sending home some little gifts from me to your child on Dec. 1st.  With your permission, I would like for them to open them right away.  The stuff is" Christmasy" and can be used throughout the month of December.

Here are some of the concepts we're working on (November 30-December 4):

 

Phonics:  Y as a vowel

Word Wall Words:  word, all, we're, don't, you're

Shared Reading/Science/Social Studies:  Winter Holidays

Math:  Place Value

 

P.E. Days:  Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Note:  The P.E. classes are held outside while construction is going on in the gym.  Make sure your child has the appropriate shoes and outerwear for those days.  On rainy days, P.E. will be held in the classroom or in the cafeteria.
