SPELLING PATTERN:
This week we will be studying the CVC (consonant, vowel, consonant)
pattern. We will be studying short a. Some of our words will begin with a
blend of two letters. Please generate a list of words with your child that
fit this pattern and study with him/her for Friday's quiz

WORD WALL WORDS:
Each week we introduce 5 new word wall words. These are words that are used
often in all of our reading and writing. There will be two sentences at the
end of our quizes that use these words. Please help your child study how to
read and write these words. At the end of the 9 weeks your child will be
asked to read quickly all of the word wall words we have covered that 9
weeks. This week's words are:
