Hello, my name is Roslyn Miller. I have been teaching first grade at
Cline for thirteen years. Before my children were born I taught fourth
grade for 16 years in the Clear Creek district. My husband, Ed and I are
long time residents of Friendswood. Ed is retired from Lockheed Martin. My
sons went to Cline when they were small. They both graduated from
Friendswood High School. Now Andy is a junior at the University of Houston,
studying Computer Science and Allen is a senior at the University of
Houston. Allen will finish his music degree this semester (bass clarinet)
and is two years into his mechanical engineering degree. Andy and Allen are
both musicians and played in the Band when they were in High School.
I love teaching and children. I look forward to meeting you and your
children. We are going to have a great year!
My mission is to take each child where he/she is and work with him/her,
and the parents, to help each child go as far as he can, not only in
academics but as a person; a member of a family, a class, and a
community.
