| A new school year is approaching and that means all students will be working
to learn the routine of school. One of the many routines that your students
will be doing is going to ancillary classes. In music, we work on the
concepts of steady beat, high and low sounds, fast and slow, loud and soft and
we also work with lots of movement activities.
Kindergarten students also play on classroom percussion instruments, learn
character education songs, which include patriotic songs sung during the
opening of the school day, and songs relating to the units being studied in
the regular education classes.
