| URGENT! Please spray your child with mosquito spray before they come to
school or send mosquito repellent Wipes until the mosquitos are gone. The
state does not allow teachers to spray repellent on your child. Thank you.
Homework is assigned Monday through Thursday and is meant reinforce the
objectives introduced in the classroom. All students will be responsibile
for their homework and recording their next assignment in class every
morning. **Remember to wear tennis shoes Monday - Wednesday. **Also, please
have your child read to you every night. Ask your child the story elements
1.Who are the characters? 2.What is the setting (time & location)of the
story. 3. Does the story have a problem? 4. What is the resolution? Ask your
child if he/she made a connection to another textbook, movie, or a personal
experience.
Monday - Spelling words,review new vocabulary words & study Math facts (+,-)
(computer, board games, dice roll, deck of cards)

Tests
Tuesday - Practice Spelling (write them using markers or crayons, sidewalk
chalk on driveway, type on computer, singing them) & study Math facts.
***Please remember to bring LIBRARY Books for Wednesday's library visit.
Wednesday - Library books Due. Practice Timed Test & study Spelling words
for tomorrow's Sentence Dictation.
Thursday - Sentence Dictation (remember to study sight words & puncutation).
Study Math facts.
Friday - No Homework. Parents, please clean out green homework folder and
send back with Friday Folder every Monday.
**Parents, please be sure to check your child's H.W. Monday through Thursday
& initial the boxes on the H.W. sheet to verify completion of assignments.
Homework assignments be different at times, so please monitor homework sheet
daily.
