Next week, we will be focusing on 5 new Word Wall Words:

Please do not feel that you child needs to have mastered all of those yellow cards that I sent home. We focus on 5 words a week, and you should do the same at home. So far, we have covered the following words: like, my, you, said, look, one, going, got, his, with, she, for, he, sent, have, will, they, run, yes, was, big, not, where, day, out, down, of, are, from, little, who, her, then, get, away, be, fun, had, into, if, an, him, no, but, so, came, home, could,

In Phonics next week, we will be reviewing all short vowels and long vowels with a "Mommy *e*".
In Math, we will continue exploring subtraction using the "part/part/whole method. For subtraction, you must start with the "whole", take away a "part" and you are left with the other "part".
We will also be exploring Native Americans.
