Peek At Next Week for Mrs. Wilson's 1st Grade Class


Well, I'm having technical difficulties.  I have the file uploaded, but can't seem to get it to play.  I promise to try again another time.  I'll let you know when I figure it out :) 


  I'm trying something new here  I received a FLIP video camera as a Christmas present from my in-laws, so I am attempting to upload a short clip of the kiddos from pajama day today.  If this works, this will hopefully be the first of many videos I'll send throughout the 2nd semester.  I am so excited about the prospect of you all being able to see what we are doing!  Don't worry, I promise not to send anything that might embarrass anyone

We will not have any new word wall words next week:   Please practice all word wall words at home over the break.  I will be assessing students on all words when we return from Christmas break.
 So far, we have covered the following words:  like, my, you, said, look, one, going, got, his, with, she, for, he, went, have, will, they, run, yes, was, big, not, where, day, out, down, of, are, from, little, who, her, then, get, away, be, fun, had, into, if, an, him, no, but, so, came, home, could, why, again, first, do, eat, mother, saw, what, after, there, make, did, because, father, want, has, night, word, all, we're, don't, you're

 
In Phonics, we are reviewing all patterns and sounds covered this year.

 
In Math, we are exploring fact families.  We will also begin learning about graphing.
