Reminder that the students will not have Oct. 13 off and they will have school that day!!
A note will go home soon about our pumpkin carving that we will do in the classroom
and I will ask that a parent for each child be here to help your child carve it. Thank

Thank you, parents, for visiting my web page. Please email me so that I
might add your name to my address book. I hope that you will feel
comfortable contacting me at anytime. Most mornings I am able to
check my emails during lunch time(10:32-11:02). Otherwise, I will be able to
read my mail during the students specials at 12:45-1:30. You may contact the
school at anytime. (281-482-1201) Our front office is always ready to
answer questions or help in anyway.
Lunch: If you wish to prepay, you may visit FISD's website
www.fisdk12.net and look for Food Services. Or you may prepay by
sending a check covering the cost of several lunches. This saves a lot
of time and effort in the lunch line. (It is very difficult for the children
to handle money AND a tray.} Our cafeteria staff will remind the children
when they need to send additional monies.
Lunch is $1.90 (milk included). Milk can be purchased for $.55. Ice cream
can be purchased on Tuesday and Friday for $.55. Please send all money in a
sealed envelope with your child's name and my name written on it. If you
wish for some of this money to go toward ice cream, please mark that
on the envelope too. Snacks may also be purchased anywhere from $.50-$.80.
Reminders:
+Please label all jackets, sweaters, etc.
+Please send a healthy snack and water bottle with your child. It is
VERY important that these are labeled with your child's name or initials.
+Please read your "Peek at the Week" early in the weekend.
+Library books must be turned in on or before Friday.

For P.E., children need to wear rubber-soled shoes. They cannot wear

Conference schedule:
If you would like to meet with me, please call 281-482-1201 to schedule
a conference. If you are unable to come to the school, we could
schedule a phone conference. I can meet with you M,T,W,Th,F 12:45-1:30. I
am also available after school.
Curriculum: The FISD website has a special Kindergarten site. PDF
files are available for you. You will find items such as a list of our
sight words, and each nine week's assessments. Just visit www.fisdk12.net
and click on curriculum and instruction. There you will notice the
kindergarten link.
