    2. Respect Sra. Buchelli, your fellow classmates and all school
         property.
    3. Wait for Sra. Buchelli to officially dismiss you. Stay IN your seat
         until you are dismissed.
   4. Do not insult one another. Racial slurs and profanity will NOT be
        tolerated.

Procedures:

   1. Look at the board to see the day's objectives. Take out all
        materials that you will need.
   2. Should you be absent, bring your absentee slip for me to sign.
Check to see whether or not you have any work to make up.
   3. Late homework is NOT accepted. Homework must be turned in
when asked for during the class period.
   4. Tardies will be handled according to district policy. (Refer to your
        Mustang Manual).

HOW TO EXPERIENCE SUCCESS IN THIS CLASS:

   1. Make every attempt to attend class each day. We will be covering
a lot of material, and it will be extremely difficult to keep up if you
        are frequently absent.
   2. Should you miss a quiz or test, you must make an appointment to
come in to make it up.
   3. Quizzes and tests MUST be written in BLUE or BLACK ink. Failure
to comply with this requirement will result in losing ten points
       from your earned score.
  4. The only way to become proficient in a language is to practice, prac-
tice, practice. Therefore, you will receive an oral participation grade
almost every day. Oral grades are given for effort exerted. If you are
off task, disruptive, sleeping, talking with a fellow classmate, etc.,
your oral grade will be adversely affected. When oral proficiency is
part of a test or final exam, your oral grade will be based on
        accuracy.
  5. I make every effort to keep you well-informed. Every Monday
morning, I post the days that quizzes/tests will be administered for
the week. In parentheses, I write the page numbers that need to
be studied. In addition to looking over the page numbers that are
written on the board, you should also study any notes that you have
taken and look over any handouts that you have been given.
  6. I ask that you keep a notebook so that you are as organized as
possible. I do not take a grade on your notebook.
  7. Understand that some concepts are harder to learn than others.
Attend tutorials as needed. Don't be afraid to ask questions in
       class.
  8. Come in with a positive attitude each day.
