2008 DISTRICT AUDITION MUSIC ANNOUNCED
The following pieces have been selected for the District Audition on Saturday,
Sept. 27:
"Sing Joyfully" - Byrd (all voices)
"Gloria" - Barnett (all voices)
"Alleluia" - Basler (girls only)
"Spaseniye Sodelal" - Chesnokov (boys only)
Sectionals will be held before and after school beginning on Tuesday, Aug. 26.
A specific
schedule will be announced during the first day of classes on Monday, Aug. 25.
Music may be ordered from AMC Music, 713-802-2900, or students may wait to get
music when school
starts. Rehearsal CDs will be available the first week of school. Or, you
may contact Ms.
Goode or Mr. Carrillo by e-mail if you want a CD earlier.
